Hello everyone,
Remember that during this week's
meeting, we will be hosting our first checkpoint presentations! Group
project teams and training group members will get the chance to tell us
about their game, show off what they currently have, and gain great
critical feedback from their fellow members. If you are struggling with
your game's design or development, this presentation will be invaluable
to you. Some things to remember: - It would be a very good idea to bring a copy or two of your Game Design Document to pass around as you present your project
- You will have access to the TV to display your presentation, artwork, or anything else that you may want to show off
- Don't worry if you don't have much to display; not everyone will have a working alpha already
- You
may want to think of your presentation in terms of "what we have
currently" and "what we plan to have by the next checkpoint
presentation"
We hope to give each presenter about 5-7
minutes to tell us about their game so that everyone gets a chance to
gain constructive feedback. This means that you should have a good idea
of what it is you want to tell us.We look forward to hearing about each of your great projects. See you Monday! |
